Datami at the Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress 2025: New Horizons in Cybersecurity

Datami took part in the Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress 2025, one of Europe’s key events dedicated to cybersecurity innovations and technologies. The congress was held from May 13 to 15, 2025, at the Gran Via exhibition center and became a significant gathering for industry professionals.
This year, according to official BCC data, the congress brought together over 11,000 attendees, 260 exhibitors from 30 countries, and more than 100 speakers. Key topics included cybersecurity investment strategies, supply chain protection, cyber intelligence, and the use of machine learning. In the Hacking Village zone, ethical hackers showcased practical solutions for defending against cyberattacks.
Key trends and insights
One of Datami’s main areas of focus during the event was the requirements of the DORA regulation, the latest certification standards, and AI-driven solutions, particularly those related to behavioral analytics, anti-phishing, and the integration of LLMs in security products. Special attention was given to tools like ReconAI, which automate vulnerability detection processes and enhance the efficiency of audits.
Participating in the event enabled the company to assess the relevance and competitiveness of its services in the European market. Unlike last year, when Datami presented itself through its own booth, this time the focus was on personal pitches and one-on-one meetings. Notably, the convenient implementation of QR codes allowed attendees to quickly access Datami’s presentation materials.
Oleksii Lavrenchuk, Growth Marketing Lead, shares his impressions of BCC 2025:
“We chose the Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress because of its strong focus on the European cybersecurity market, its concentration of key industry players, and its reputation as one of the most relevant events in the field. This time, attending the congress, we set several goals: to explore the competitive landscape, the market, and current solutions; to gather insights on compliance with new regulatory requirements (such as DORA); and to build connections for lead generation targeting a C-level audience (CTO, CISO, CEO).”
Eugene Akhunov, CBDO, adds:
“The European cybersecurity market shows a high level of maturity and regulation, particularly due to initiatives like DORA and other compliance frameworks. This creates a steady demand for audits, security consulting, and compliance services – areas where Datami’s offerings are especially relevant. That’s why during the congress we saw significant interest in our company from potential partners, particularly in regard to our expertise in security audits.”
Among the topics that caught Datami’s attention were:
- Tools for identifying and prioritizing vulnerabilities.
- Integration of artificial intelligence into security products, including for detecting user behavior anomalies and defending against phishing attacks.
- Automated tools based on large language models (LLMs), such as ReconAI.
Conclusions and plans
Strict regulatory frameworks and increased oversight continue to keep the cybersecurity market in European countries at a high level. This creates stable demand for audits, security consulting, and compliance services – Datami’s core areas of expertise.
The visit to BCC 2025 served not only as an effective tool for market analysis but also as an important step in expanding Datami’s international business network. Among the new contacts made were Franzisca Wolfer (Airlock), Pablo Garcia (AREXDATA), and Tymoteusz Borsiak (WIZZDEV).
